Dr. Robert H. Thibadeau, Founder and Chairman

Dr. Thibadeau is Senior VP and Chief Scientist at Wave Systems. Previously he was Chief Technologist at Seagate Technology. Previous to Seagate he was Principal Research Scientist with the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, Director of the Internet Systems Laboratory, and Associate Director of the University's Institute for eCommerce. Bob's research has focused on the World Wide Web since 1994 and he and his companies have built over 500 Websites. He was a consultant to Phoenix Technologies in Computer Security, to Wave Systems in Computer Security, an invited expert to the W3 Privacy Working Group, and a member of the Framework Committee of the International Security, Trust, and Privacy Association. Bob has taught computer security since 1997 at Carnegie Mellon, and was on the Board of the Trusted Computing Group between 2002 to 2008 and chaired the storage workgroup. He is regarded as the father of the self encrypting drives. His first cryptographic systems are still on the web at www.webarmor.com and www.hyperstamps.com. Bob and the Bright Plaza support staff, coordinates the activities of a team of dozens of Ph.D.'s and experienced computer and human factors professionals that are brought to Internet Systems contracts for Bright Plaza. What follows are the core Bright Plaza support staff.

Scott Marks, PhD Mathematical Sciences

Director, Product Development
Dr. Marks began programming computers in 1969 and received his BA, MA and PhD from Rice, the latter in 1982 in Mathematical Sciences. He has worked in computer graphics, statistics and data mining, compilers and programming language development, embedded systems and process control.

Since 2000 Dr. Marks has worked with Mobile Mind, Inc., Seagate Technology, LLC (www.seagate.com), and Bright Plaza in computer security, with patents pending with Seagate and Bright Plaza. He is co-author of the Reference Implementation of the FIPS 201 Personal Identity Verification smart card operating system as described in NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-73. Dr. Marks worked on full disk encryption firmware at Mobile Mind (http://www.mobile-mind.com) and Seagate, and served on the Trusted Computing Group's Trusted Platform Module and Storage committees (www.trustedcomputinggroup.org) ). He is fluent in English and knows French.

Carol Koehler, Business Manager

Ms. Koehler has been Business Manager for Bright Plaza, Inc., and its precursor companies, since 1985. She has experience in providing business management services both indirectly to customers through Bright Plaza, and also directly with selected customers of Bright Plaza.

Alan Freed, Webmaster

Mr. Freed has been the Bright Plaza/OnTV Webmaster since December, 1995. Alan came to Bright Plaza after a career in radio and newspapers. During his time with the company, he has helped generate unique content for the OnTV site and played an instrumental role actively managing a project that provided Websites for more than 100,000 churches throughout North America. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
