Kaje Login: A New Way to Log In!™

Kaje enables users to operate safely on the Internet by making User ID and Password attacks and infections ineffective. Kaje is a pluggable authentication module (e.g., PAM, GINA, SAML web logon) that eliminates opportunistic, device based identity theft. The system is patent pending with a downloadable demonstration available today.

How does a Kaje work? Kaje can optionally replace any text based login by communicating with existing authentication systems as if it is a text login on mobile devices, PC/Macs, corporate networks or any web service that is Kaje enabled. The user chooses any image that becomes their Kaje User ID. They then create a login (equivalent to a password) with a series of touch and swipe actions. The combination of unique image/User ID with an appropriate number of actions generates sufficient password entropy. Computer mouse clicks and drags can also be used. The user in effect can make up their own "login story". making it much easier to remember while eliminating the chance of identity theft.

Is Kaje safe? Kaje passwords are more secure with fewer actions. According to NIST (National Institute for Science and Technology), a "strong" password has a minimum 80 bits of entropy and is only achievable with a 12-character password using a standard keyboard. Not many people would ever be able to remember such a password so they compromise. A Kaje login is fun to use because you make up your own login story but it also delivers a level of safety that will protect you from identity theft.

The need for users to remember multiple passwords is eliminated as Kaje enabled services become widely available over time. Kaje enabled environments will make access impervious to User ID and Password keyboard attacks.
